Wire fraud is a serious and growing risk in real estate transactions. Hera Title & Escrow LLC will never send you wire instructions via email without additional verification.
Fraudsters may attempt to intercept communications and provide fraudulent wiring instructions. This type of fraud, known as Business Email Compromise (BEC), is one of the most costly forms of cybercrime targeting real estate transactions.
Always independently verify wire instructions by calling our office at (970) 315-7528 using a trusted phone number, not one provided in the email.
Do NOT rely solely on email communications for wire instructions, even if the email appears to come from us.
Do NOT send funds without verbal confirmation from our office staff.
Be suspicious of any last-minute changes to wiring instructions or bank account information.
Verify the email address carefully. Fraudsters often use addresses that look nearly identical to ours.

Hera Title & Escrow LLC is not responsible for losses due to wire fraud resulting from unauthorized or altered communications received by the client.
